Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile game 248, published by PDDevelop. By downloading, installing, or playing 248, you agree to these Terms.
1. The game
248 is a casual number-merge puzzle. You connect neighboring tiles on a grid following in-game rules to merge values, raise your score, and continue play. Features may change as we update the app.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
- You must use the app in accordance with Google Play policies and applicable law.
- Do not attempt to cheat, reverse engineer, disrupt servers or ads, or interfere with other players’ experience.
- Do not misuse advertising flows (for example artificially generating rewarded-ad completions).
3. Game rules (summary)
- Select a valid chain of adjacent tiles according to the merge rules shown in the game.
- Completed valid chains merge into a higher-value tile; the board then settles with gravity and new tiles.
- Score, progress, and local balances are stored on your device unless we state otherwise in an update.
The in-app behavior of the latest installed version is the authoritative game rules if anything on this page differs after an update.
4. Virtual items (gems & boosters)
248 may include virtual items such as gems, Hammer, Shuffle, free booster uses, and other cosmetics or helpers. These items:
- exist only inside the game and have no real-world cash value;
- are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial entertainment use;
- are not property that you can sell, trade, or redeem for money;
- may be earned through gameplay, rewarded ads, or other in-app methods we provide;
- may be modified, rebalanced, reset, or removed at our discretion when we update the game.
Losing device data, uninstalling the app, or clearing storage may remove local progress and virtual balances. We are not obligated to restore lost virtual items unless required by law or a specific written commitment.
5. Advertising
The free version of 248 is supported by ads (including Google AdMob). Watching rewarded ads may grant gems or unlock temporary benefits. Ad availability depends on your network, region, and ad partners and is not guaranteed.
6. Intellectual property
The game, name, visuals, code, and related materials are owned by PDDevelop or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal entertainment.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDDevelop and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, virtual items, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of 248.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app or in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $10, if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
9. Updates and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features or the app itself. We may also suspend access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) continue after termination.
10. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of your understanding of how 248 works with advertising and device data.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we publish updates. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
